Jeff Dunham: Achmed Saves America!

The world's top grossing Comedian and Ventriloquist has breathed a fresh life into his famed character Achmed The Dead Terrorist, by starring the skeletal figurine into his first animated film, 'Achmed Saves America'. The film will made its debut as part of CMT's Can't Stop Laughing Week. Praised by fans and criticized by his critics, Dunham's characters are popular and controversial at the same time.
The comedy-driven debut film "Achmed Saves America", by Dunham, depicts the beloved, failed bad guy, who has unexpectedly landed in the US heartland of Americanville. As he plots to blow up the town of 'infidels', the little Skeleton is subsequently mistaken as a French exchange student. However, the 'evil terrorist' eventually falls in love with the freedom-loving American life, including frozen yogurts and all-you-can-eat buffet.
Despite the controversial title of the movie, Dunham insists that there is no political agenda at play. He explains that his eternal motive behind all his performances including this debut film, is to make the audience laugh and enjoy a few trouble-free hours. With reference to the film, Dunham further explains that other than making people laugh, he wanted to make the audience feel good about living in their great homeland America.
The comedian also ensured that the community of those who serve in the United States Armed Forces, would also benefit from his work. Similar to this, Dunham has done projects earlier, including live shows and screenings, to benefit the Wounded Warrior that was a project of a Veteran's service organization. This organization offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of September 11.
Dunham's global appeal is undeniable. Among other successful projects, and live shows this year, Jeff also lent his voice to the feature film 'Nut Job', alongside Liam Neeson and Brendan Fraser. Dunham has never disappointed audience, and same results as ever, are expected from his debut movie "Achmed Saves America".
